  We are so excited about all of you coming to our small town for the 100th year celebration. The concert will be the first big event of the week long celebration. I have been truly blessed already by the energy from the churches coming together and the wonderful relationships that have formed with one goal-to share the Lord with the lost in this community! This event is covered in prayer. Thank you for your ministry.

  Hi everyone on the tour!  I am on the committee of the churches bringing you to Taft, CA.  There is alot of excitment generated now because the concert is getting close!  Heather is right in that we are a small town but during Oildorado 30,000-40,000 (at least) come in and this year is our 100th birthday for the town as well so it’s really big this year!  The day of the concert is also the dedication day of the “oilworkers monument”.  It will be the largest bronze scultpture in the state of California!! and second largest in the western US.  So there will be alot of people here that day and we are thrilled all of you are coming!  We have been working and praying hard to have it all come together.  Just know we are praying for all of you as well!  Looking forward to Oct 15th!  Pastor Carol Jordan ps the doors open at 5:30 pm and concert is to start at 6:30pm

  seriously got to give it up to you and the rest of the group coming to Taft Ca…. just a little back ground… this town is a tiny blip on the radar, but during the 100th year celebration of this Towns birth during a week long celebration called Oildorado, that tends to go back in time to drinking and rebelrowsing of the good ol country boy days (cough cough) we need to start this week of with a lift of praise to Our Father to remind people of His glory… maybe people will be cut to there hearts and find his Mercy and Grace before going down that partying road that week of October… to lump it all together… we need this in our lil town more than you could ever know! Having so many "churches" hate using that term… we are the called out period… we are all a part of His One Body! So having so many christian from dirrent styles of worshipping come together to share in Love and to show the community our ability to come together in this Love and light and try to share it so freely… just I praise you for joining us in this endevor!
