The Rainbow Connection

I grew up on the muppets.
Well, not exactly “on” muppets per say,
that would be strange and disturbing to say the least,
but I did grow up watching them.

Lots and lots of them.

And if you haven’t seen the old Muppet Movies,
you have been robbed of much pending joy and elation.
Go view them as soon as possible.
Be amazed.

And when you watch the Muppet Movie,
you’ll notice that the whole lot of them,
frogs, pigs, bears and…gonzos?
Well, the whole lot of them travel about in a fairly large bus.
What I’d like to call, the Rainbow Connection.

And if you’ve ever read the book of Genesis,
you’d know that rainbows are God’s promise of salvation.
The promise that He will never again consume the world’s population in a flood.
(Muppets included)

So, with that in mind, I’d like you to strongly consider,
being a part of God’s promise to Tenth Avenue North.
Part of our rainbow connection.
How you ask?
How can you join said refracted light connectivity?
Well, it’s simple.

If you know anyone with a bus, or the means to purchase a bus,
or anyone that could convert their house into a bus,
you should solicit them, or solicit yourself for that matter,
to give the vehicle to the poor lonely travelers of Tenth Avenue North.
Yeah, I never said this was gonna be easy.

This past month we’ve had it brought to our attention that the van
we’ve been traveling is, how should we say…lacking?
Not that it doesn’t get us from point a to point b,
it does. The thing that its lacking is not transportability or drivability,
but rather, living roomability.

If you didn’t know, the muppet clan of Tenth Ave has begun to expand.
frogs, pigs, spouses, and now….babies!
Yes.
There’s a baby in our band now, and we’d like to bring her along.
Problem is, mister Rawhide (our van) is preventing us from being able to do that.
That’s where the Rainbow Connection comes in.
It would do exactly that….

Connect.

Connect us with each other,
us with you, and you with whoever you talk about this with.
All kinds of connection going on.
It’s working already.
So, if you’d like to help us achieve the same type of joyous close-knit fellowship
that the muppets had, feel free to give us that tour bus you’ve had in your yard,
or in your garage, or in your mind. (although the first two would probably help us more directly)
We’d greatly appreciate it.

With Warm Regards From,
the Lovers, the Dreamers, and Me. (Mike)

P.S. We like prayers!
